Such a serendipitous experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Bangkok. We were checking out nearby restaurants and the ala carte menu of Red Oven offered a wide selection at reasonable price so we initially decided to go for it. We were greeted by the obstructed view of the gorgeous Bangkok skyline almost teasing us to get in to get the full view. Red Oven was running a Come 3 Pay 2 promo on their dinner buffet which also included sushi and grilled meat offering from their adjacent Japanese Restaurant SOSHI. After getting a quick tour of their stations and wide offering it was a no brainer. We did have to boom it through their website and pay online to avail the promo. After that was set, we were seated to our huge table which we did not fail to fill up with food from their wide buffet selection. They had staple Thai food from their refreshing salad, spicy curry to delightful traditional desserts. They also had a seafood grilling station next to their outdoor seating which had amazing views of One Bangkok and Lumphini Park. Biggest highlight were the 2 choices of Fresh French Oysters and the Japanese grilling station which offered tender pork and wagyu steak which were cooked to perfection. Aside from the gorgeous view and sumptuous food, the very warm, friendly and gracious service from Fah, Bomb, Pond, Cream and Jah just made our experience even more memorable. They made sure we were attended to and were very patient in assisting us in booking the dinner experience online. We were truly impressed by their service and with Red Oven overall. If ever you are in Bangkok, do not miss Red Oven!

I recently enjoyed an international buffet at Red Oven, located in the stylish SO/ Bangkok hotel. The variety of food was impressive, offering a great mix of Asian and Western cuisines. There was even a cheese station, and you could order unlimited pasta made fresh on the spot. The seafood on ice selection was well-stocked with shrimp, crab, and shellfish, while the salad bar was generous and diverse. Thai food lovers would be happy too—there was a wide range of delicious local dishes available. One thing to note: sashimi was not included, and for drinks, only water and soft drinks were complimentary—other beverages came at an additional charge. With a great city view and a price of just a little over THB 900, I’d say it’s definitely a buffet worth trying!

Had lunch and dinner here many times. Never disappoint! The 7th fl. Red Oven is great for lunch. At night, bar at 9th fl. is splendid! Great view. Good food. Some discount on All Accor.

A Rather Marvellous Christmas Stay Just wanted to drop a note about our recent stay at SO/ Bangkok, and particularly our experiences at the Red Oven. Chef Ms. Da had very thoughtfully arranged a festive cupcake and cookie decorating session for all the children. It was an absolutely wonderful idea. She set everything up beautifully, and it created the most cheerful, festive atmosphere for the little ones. My son was utterly delighted he’s still talking about his ‘masterpiece’. It’s these kind of considerate, shared activities that make a family holiday feel so special. A special mention must go to Ms. Esther from the hotel team, who we understand was instrumental in organising it all. It was clearly done with such care. We also saw several of the restaurant staff, including Praew, Ice, and Nook, milling about and offering smiles and encouragement to the budding young bakers, which added to the lovely, communal feel. It was a small thing, perhaps, but it made a world of difference to our stay. A genuine thank you to everyone involved for creating such a happy memory for the children.

Once again, I had the pleasure of dining at Red Oven, the 7th-floor restaurant of the Sofitel. The buffet is outstanding, offering a perfect balance of Thai and international dishes. The restaurant’s design and architecture are simply beautiful, and the view is as always breathtaking. My warm thanks to Fah, the attentive and charming server who took care of me throughout this wonderful evening.

I came back here after a while. Overall food was excellent. There are varieties of food and desserts which I enjoyed a lot. I also like the Sashimi that they only serves during the dinner. Homemade Ice Cream also top-notch. It will be better if they offer some mixed nuts because I like to eat chewable ice cream but it's not a hard requirement Staff services also excellent, very caring staffs. The only thing that can be improved was some of Thai dishes. It's not as great as other international dishes but I still enjoyed them. I will come back again for sure. Special thanks to Khun Fah, Khun Book, Khun Nancy, and Khun Mook.

Another delightful dinner at Red Oven — and it never disappoints. Everything was freshly prepared, served quickly, and full of flavor. The view overlooking Lumpini Park is absolutely stunning. This was my fourth visit, and I still enjoy it every time. Huge shout-out to Book and Bomb for taking such great care of us — excellent hospitality throughout. Accor Plus benefits were clearly acknowledged, with applicable discounts applied smoothly — always appreciated. The buffet offers an impressive variety of international dishes and desserts. Highly recommended and always worth coming back for
